Recently I have been working a lot with Jewels of Velky Photography.  I have to say this has been such a fulfilling experience, and I look forward to each job. I usually team up with Michelle Weber for hair, and we transform the client together, usually admist great converstaion. The reactions after the women see themselves in the mirror are so rewarding because they finally see their inner beauty match their outer beauty, and it's really been they all along! I really can't say enough good things about this experience, so here are some photos : )

Last weekend I attended IMATS (International Makeup And Trade Show) in New York. It was a whirlwind of a weekend, but I learned so much and brought home new products that I can't wait to try out! There were so many great vendors such as Hakuhodo, OCC, Temptu, Royal & Langnickel, Inglot, Embryolisse...just to name a few! It was so hard not to snatch everything up! I also go to hear Kevin James Bennett, Tina Turnbow, and Eve Pearl preach some makeup wisdom. Eve Pearl was especially inspiring on the topic of the business of makeup. This past weekend I had the pleasure of working with Donna on her wedding day. We had so much fun at the trial, I was really looking forward to her wedding day! Donna and all her girls made me feel so welcome. She is super sweet, and absolutely beautiful! Congratulations Donna, I wish you all the happiness in the world! XO

In November of last year, I was in my best friend Elizabeth's wedding. I also had the honor of doing her makeup for her big day. She got married at The Woodlands United Methodist Church, and the fabulous reception was at the Woodlands Country Club. She looked absolutely stunning, and I could not be more happy for her and Sean!
